Kalu rasa x kenal sapa Jang Nara nie... g bukak Channel 9 lyn drama bersiri Taiwan 'The Mischievous Princess' lakonan stereotype (tp best!) beliau yg senantiasa cute2 brutal gitu... comei sgt minah nie sampai rasa nak penampar jer :p Seingat aku la, demam malaria drama Korea nie tetiba melanda seluruh rakyat jelata negara kita sjk penayangan drama tangkap lentuk+leleh 'Winter Sonata' lakonan Bao Yong Jun (antara hero plg laku di Korea) dan Choi Ji Woo... Truthfully, aku x minat langsong jln ceta fantasi nie (ala2 Bollywood gak nie... tolak tarian+nyanyian jer) walo sedar x sedar aku terlyn gak sampai ending siri nie :p Mmmg meletup abis drama tu kat sini (even di seluruh Asia Tenggara sebenarnya!). Tgk saja bagaimana Abg Hazami 'Katakanlah' melonjak namanya di carta tempatan pas nyanyi lagu 'Sonata Musim Salju'... aku dgr lagu tu ada byk versi lain... cina, tagalog pon ada! Mmg WORLD!!! Pastu dtg lak 1 lg drama perabih airmata 'Autumn in My Heart'. Dah jd trend cambest lak kasi tajuk drama cinta ikot musim nie. Heroin drama kali nie, Song Hye Kyo mmg cun abis dgn mata kuyu+innocent dia (hero dia x silap aku Ryu Si Won... well, who cares :p)... plus another melodic main theme yg menyayat jiwa... cukop utk meletakkan drama nie sbg 1 lg all-time faveret masa tu! Actually, aku mula terjerumus dlm kegilaan drama Korea nie pas tgk 'My Love Patzzi' lakonan si comel Jang Nara ngan heronya, Kim Rae Won (larian mamat nie keliling theme park menaikkan semangat aku berjogging... believe it or not!). Mmg masyuk abis aku ikot ceta nie... lagu tema dia 'Sweet Dream' pon mmg fun n cute mcm penyanyi dia gak... x caya dgr la music video yg aku attach kat atas nun :) 1 lg drama lakonan Jang Nara yg masok carta aku adalah 'Bright Girl's Success'... storyline dia ala2 ceta Beauty n d Beast... n d beast is starred by none other than Mr Jang Hyuk (mamat nie mmg faveret hero aku sbb karekter dia x lembik mcm hero2 Korea yg lain :p) Well... eventually, pas terjebak jd kipas-susah-mati... buat pertama kali gak aku tergamak g beli d whole box-set siri drama nie buat personal collection aku... waduh x2 :~ Fanatisme aku terhadap K-entertainment nie x berenti setakat dramanya sj... aku dah mula pandai survey movie blockbuster diaorg... which most of them bertemakan romantic comedy (I'm not suprised... U?). 1 of my faveret is 'My Sassy Girl' lakonan mantap Cha Tae-Hyun (hero yg kelakar abis) ngan Jeon Ji-Hyun (mmg cun+ganas minah nie... my type *teet* :p). 'Volcano High', filem adaptasi komik ala Japanese manga lakonan cool Jang Hyuk ngan Shin Min-ah (heroin yg dingin banget) turut jd pilihan aku. Faveret movie aku termasok filem South Korea yg hit international box office hingga ke Hollywood iaitu 'My Wife is a Gangster' (Jopog Manura) lakonan hebat Cha Eun-jin. Kewl! Masa aku berkhidmat di Gas Malaysia, aku mula pandai mendonlod music video K-pop yg byk mendpt pengaruh dr J-pop. Sumanya nie bermula pas aku tgk music video Kiss 'Because I'm a Girl' (check out d video below). Dr situ, aku mula mengenali penyanyi2 tersohor Korea spt BoA (minah cilik nie berjaya tembus market Korea ngan Jepun sekaligus, mantap beb!), KangTa (Anuar Zain Korea?), Lee Hyori (artis pompuan plg munggil di Korea... aka JLo Korea), Baby VOX (mcm Elite tp lg comei maa :p), Shinhwa (boy band plg digilai di Korea) dll. Mmg happening abis industri muzik kat sana... x caya g rikee sendiri!

Walopon kini minat aku terhadap industri hiburan Korea nie dah kian pudar... tp terbukti hingga kini drama bersiri dr negara jiran Jepun nie masih menjd pilihan ramai di negara kita! P/S: Best x drama 'Full House' (Pul Hawooseu) lakonan Young-jae (Bi) ngan Song Hye Kyo? Korang lyn kan...? :p

Persekitaran UiTM Shah Alam yg berbumbungkan langit biru awan kumulus serta bertiangkan pohon2 yg menghijau menyambut sahutan jiwa aku yg tenang bak aliran Sg Kuala Muda. Indah betul alam flora fauna ciptaan Allah swt nie :)

Alhamdulillah, syukran ya Allah... 3 minggu lamanya aku bergelumang dlm proses pengekstrakan otak... jiwa aku kacau... tertekan beb :( Wut should be my RESEARCH TITLE? Do I have a RESEARCH QUESTION?! Well... if I do have one... is it really a problem (d right problem?!) or... am I assuming things? Err... Where exactly is my RESEARCH AREA? Do I really have d muscle to conduct d RESEARCH METHOD?! Erkk... I'm really clueless here. Arghh... Help me out here! CRASH BOOM BANG! KADA-BOOM!!! Kapla aku yg sjk-2-menjak nie berasap pon akhirnya meletup daa :p Masa diploma ngan degree dulu, aku dilatih utk conduct final projek which actually involved a bit of research work and consume more of product development processes (R&D). I'm fine wiz how d terminology goes cause I myself fond in doing software/system development. Tp lain plak citernya skrg.

Now... it's all abt d relevance n d rigor of my research exercise. Forget abt product development... no more R&D dis time... u got d big 'R' to mangle wiz! Opss sori dude... pjg lak aku melalut kan? :p To cut it short... I finally managed to submit my proposed research title plus d presentation on d dateline given. Thx to Dr Norlaila n Dr Mardziah for their dedicated guidance (plus my journal-reading-campaign for d past 3 weeks) dat I finally grab (I think so) d whole concept on doing a research. Berbalik kpd Helsing... anime terbitan 2001 nie aku pilih buat pelepas dendam 3 minggu yg hectic td. Mcm excitement lyn citer box-office kat cineplex... aku dah beli segala bekalan mkn-minom (plus sekotak 14 Sampoerna 'hijau') bg memeriahkan lg aktiviti menghabiskan d whole 13 episodes of Helsing in 1 day-1 nite. Perintah berkurung pon bermula... :p

X mcm anime2 lain yg aku dah khatam... Helsing yg lebih gory ( n jokeless) bertemakan conflict between human n undead (vampires n ghouls to be exact). 2ndly, to my surprise... d story evolves around d dull-England... d queen's land... n it happens dat all d main characters are English as well... non-Japanese included! D central focus would be d kewl Lord Alucard (yes everybody... spelled backword n he is d blood-sucking DRACULA!), Sir Integral Wingates Hellsing (descendant of Dr Van Helsing... not Hugh Jackman k :p) and Ceras Victoria (dis English babe still potrays d cute manga chick dat everybody luv to see on-screen... thx goodness! :*). Helsing refers to an organisation, a special unit that eliminates rogue vampires (more like a SWAT team to me). There are of course lots of gun-fight scenes... even d kewl Alucard who has tremendous awesome powers (such as entering people's dreams, teleportation, regeneration n turning into a 'Hellhound' or swarm of bats) wears a pair of guns... d 454 Casull n d 13mm Jackal. The Jackal's bullets are mercury charged explosive rounds dat have been blessed while d Casull's bullets are from Lanchester Cathedral cross that was melted into alloy. Ok... so dis is where I'm starting to feel out-of-place... :(

Frankly, I never get d idea of vampires fighting with guns n people hunting vampires like they are some sort of terrorists. Dats why big-budget movies such as Underworld (I only watch it to catch luscious black-leathered Kate Beckinsale doing her pose) or Blade (I do admit d fighting chorography n gadgets used are way kewl) never did intrigue me. Rather I would straight away jump into a more tone down blood-sucking shows like From Dust Till Dawn (freaking kewl!) or Fright Night (u got neighbourhood vampires n Planet of d Apes star, Roddy McDowall in here) which able to deliver me shivers n enjoyment at d same time.

Exaggerating ideological conflict between d secret branch of the Vatican aka Iscariot Organization with Helsing does cripple d story even more. We have swordfighting Catholic priest in here... wutever! N wut wiz dis claim dat England is a Protestant country n d Vatican has no authority there? I dun care n I dun wanna know...

I managed though to finished up d series after falling asleep a few times. Watching Helsing is like watching Mission Impossible (UK remake) wiz Tom Cruise as the lead vampire. Nope... dis is certainly not my kind of anime! :(
